Mrs. Ethel D. Mangus, 92, of 6401 US 52 S died at 11:20 p.m. Wednesday in Augsburg Village, Mulberry, where she had been 10 years. She had been in failing health several years. Mrs. Mangus was born in Montgomery County where she lived until moving to Lafayette in 1938. In 1915 she was married at Indianapolis to Jacob E. Mangus who died in 1953. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Douglas (Marianna) Thomas of Mulberry; three sons, J. Edward Mangus of San Jose, Calif; Henry D. Mangus of Torrance, Calif and Robert L. Mangus of Lafayette; a sister, Mrs. Mary Stickler of New Market; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be in Whitesville Christian Church at 2:30 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Donald Hainer officiating. - kbz
